I have been a "hard gainer" all my life. With my own knowledge of weight training and supplementing i was never able to make it over 150lbs. Before I met Dave, I thought I was a bodybuilding know-it-all. I used to spend my time surfing the internet for everything I could know about losing weight, bodybuilding, supplements, and nutrition. I would spend my day on various forums and read various articles and would often come up with very little leads, misinformation, or even contradictions! I thought I was making at least better than average progress. However, I wasn't fully able to understand all the concepts in diet and training to get the ripped physique I've always wanted. Being much more experienced, Dave was able to show me what is known and proven to work for getting to the goals I wanted. After training with Dave and following his diet plan for me, I started to see changes instantly. Dave has been very instrumental in my success with bodybuilding. I decided one summer I wanted to have a bodybuilding show physique and setup a photo shoot with a professional photographer to motivate me to achieve my goals. That summer I joined a bodybuilding forum so I could obtain valuable information about proper diet and training. I posted several threads asking for some diet assistance. Dave wrote me personally and offered to help restructure my diet. He took my existing diet and made the necessary adjustments so that I would get the maximum results. Everyone hits a sticking point on their diet. Well I always would come to the same bump in the road and could never progress from there. Dave laid out the specific daily diet routine, supplementation, and cardio I needed to jumpstart my progress again.

 

After the first week on Dave's modification to my diet, I started seeing results. Dave stayed in constant contact with me through email to adjust and tweak things as my diet went along. I was stuck around 224 lbs but within 5 weeks I got down to 212 lbs. Those last 10 or so pounds are the hardest to lose but account for the most visibility of your hard earned muscle. Dave helped me get there for the first time in my life. Dave also helped me write up my week preparation for my photoshoot. I was lean, dry, hard, and vascular for my shoot. Dave is very giving of his time and knowledge and knows how to get you the results you want. If you are motivated to succeed and listen to what he says. You will achieve your goals.

First off i would like to thank god for introducing me to Dave, Dave gave me the confidence i was lacking and assured me I would reach my goal. Even though physically he wasnt here I always had a number to reach dave if I was in any problem. His keto cycling diet is the best tweaked version out there. I've always been an athlete and an advocate of fitness but it seemed like no matter what I read in magazines or what supplements I took I was still out of reach of my goals. When I met Dave I was ALWAYS picking his brain and asking him what to eat and how to change my workout routine, it wasn't until I started working with him until I realized how much of a science achieving my fitness goals were. Since working with I have gained 17lbs of muscle and lost 6% body fat, mind you I'm only 57" with a medium frame now at 176 lbs. What can't I say about Dave Bohr thats positive? Well the truth is I can't find anything. Dave is by far thee most influential, intelligent, out-going, all around good guy i've ever met. I still till this day am amazed by how far he has come in his career and how he continues to expand not only my knowledge but also his. There is a certain shock factor when you met a real personal trainer who has been what your going through and already knows the outcomes of just about any situation. Quite frankly when I first met Dave I thought wow this guy is legit. You look @ him in awe and think what will it take to get to that point. Dave has sat down and spent HOURS talking to me about my goals and how I can get there. Whatever your goal may be, he can get you there. Whenever I had a question, Dave had an answer right on the spot. What i've noticed a lot too is that Dave actually takes the time to listen to his clients and personalize everything to them specifically. Just within the first ten sessions of working with Dave i've seen huge NATURAL increases of size and strength just by doing things slightly different. If your serious about getting in shape, putting on mass, or ANY other goal that is fitness or health related...I strongly recommend Dave Bohr to be by your side. The results I achieved after working with Dave for the past 8 weeks havee been amazing. His workouts and diet are very thought out and well planned. Dave communicates with you every week to check on your progress and make any changes he thinks are necessary. This is only half of what Dave and I have lined out for me but the next few weeks should be even more dramatic. Daves knowledge on diet and getting cut are second to none and his program is very easy to follow. His diet also allowed me to live a somewhat normal life and have a night out with friends without destroying our progress or results. When I first started talking to Dave I was 5'10" 150 lbs and lean.   Two years later I'm sitting at 180 lbs and the same body fat.  He has provided various diet ideas and training regimes for me to try out, showing me how altering your diet alone can change your physique dramatically when done correctly.  Dave has been very helpful and thorough explaining things to me.  For example, when he recommended I try carb-cycling and I asked him how it worked, he responded with a 2-page write-up on carb-cycling, including a day to day layout with food idea's. He has responded to every question I've asked, including a brief critique of my parents diet and training which included his additional diet and training recommendations that would be easiest for them to adapt to their lifestyle.

It was without a doubt that my few training sessions with Dave were extremely beneficial to my workout routine. He trained me in person at my college gym, and knew every single piece of equipment that was available and how to properly use them. Not only did Dave train me, but he also tweaked my regular workouts to help enhance my body building. The training sessions were extremely intense and each and every exercise was unique which shocked my muscles, allowing them to grow exponentially. After my first session, my muscles were extremely PUMPED and FATIGUED which made me realize that he knew exactly what he was doing. Furthermore, his coaching and advice allowed me to further grasp how to work out properly and enabled me to work out today on my own without the need to constantly rely on a trainer. I started out at 131lbs and within a 3 month time frame gained up to 152lbs! In addition, I maxed on decline bench 115lbs and during that three months time frame, I added 110lbs to it, ending up with a max of 225lbs which is still increasing by the day.

When you meet a man with Dave's physique, almost anybody even slightly interested in personal fitness is going to want to ask questions, and ask I did. Dave and I talked about everything from diet and routine, to mental health and karma. It all helped. Taking note of Dave's humble demeanor, strong advice, and immense knowledge I began to train in my room on my own with a set of 25 pound weights, my body, imparted knowledge, and a goal. After 5 months of 30 minutes a day 5 days a week, the right foods, the right frame of mind and having Dave around for reassurance and knowledge, I was in the kind of shape I never knew I could be in. Not only could I hardly recognize myself in the mirror after putting on 20 pounds of muscle but I started to find that my body was capable of feats I never thought it would be, and stronger in body and mind than I had ever known myself before.
